Jean Stock teams up with Euro1080






Antwerp, 21st March 2005 ● Euro1080, the first High Definition Television Company in Europe, is pleased to announce that Jean Stock (°1948) joined the company as strategic advisor.

From 2001 until 2004, Jean Stock was Secretary General of the EBU-UER, the European Broadcasting Union. Previously, he held top executive positions at RTLTélévision (1981-1986), M6 (1987-1989), CLT (1989-1996), RTL-Tvi (1989-1994), Havas (1997-1998), TV5 Monde and Canal France International (1998-2001). Furthermore, he was member of several boards of important media companies in Europe and the United States. (see enclosed career overview)

According to Mr Fehervari “2005 announced itself to become a key year with the start of MPEG4 HD transmission and with the strategic alliances that we are creating with the new HDTV starters all over Europe.
